Description
Louis Kisaragi, a Prism Star and former Prism Messenger affiliated with Schwarz Rose, was born on February 29. Possessing platinum blond hair and golden eyes, his ethereal appearance is often described as angelic. Standing 172 cm tall and presenting male in the current era, Louis originated approximately a thousand years prior in the Prism World as the female Prism Messenger Rinne. As Rinne, this individual partnered with the male messenger Shine to spread Prism Sparkle across worlds. Defying prohibitions against emotional attachments, Rinne and Shine developed a romantic relationship. When Shine's public Prism Shows began damaging the Prism Sparkle, the G.O.D.s ordered Rinne to eliminate him. Rinne instead sealed Shine using the "Mystical Lunamystic Heaven" Prism Jump, vowing to follow him later. This act caused system errors within Rinne, leading the G.O.D.s to erase their data.
Reprogrammed and relaunched as version 3.01 of the Rinne-type messenger under the new identity "Louis," this entity was dispatched to Earth with a renewed mission to eliminate Shine before he could reawaken within his human host, Shin Ichijo. Louis retained fragmented memories of the past life as Rinne, prompting disobedience toward the elimination order. Claiming to have "crossed a thousand years" to meet Shin, Louis guided him into Prism Shows while developing complex feelings. Louis frequently displayed affection towards Shin but also exhibited jealousy when Shin interacted with others.
As Schwarz Rose's star pupil under Jin Norizuki's mentorship, Louis participated in the Prism King Cup. During a joint performance with Shin, Louis executed the "Whispering Lunamystic Heaven" Prism Jump, culminating in a kiss and symbolic stabbing mirroring Rinne's sealing of Shine. Later, Louis performed "Lunatic Destiny," successfully executing four consecutive Prism Jumps and temporarily securing first place with 20,000 karats. This performance restored June Amou's lost memories, revealing Louis' true identity as a Rinne-type messenger. In defiance of Prism World directives, Louis ultimately tore off their own prism wings during the events of Pride the Hero, permanently severing the ability to return and choosing to remain on Earth with Shin.
Throughout Shiny Seven Stars, Louis' emotional focus shifted from the past incarnation of Shine to the present-day Shin, culminating in a conscious realization of love specifically for Shin. Louis maintained loyalty to Jin and Schwarz Rose as necessary means to fulfill original mission parameters, despite personal conflict regarding feelings for Shin. Key Prism Jumps associated with Louis include "Starlight Kiss," "Absolute Idol: I Love You," "Whispering Lunamystic Heaven," and "Lunatic Destiny," performed to songs such as "Pride ~ Louis Ver.~," "Lunatic Destiny," and "I Know Shangri-La." Personality-wise, Louis typically exhibits calmness and kindness but demonstrates capacity for jealousy and intense emotional expression, particularly concerning Shin. A preference for milk serves as a subtle behavioral link to the earlier Rinne identity.
