Description
Kakeru Jūōin, originally named Kazuo, meaning "first son," serves as heir to the Jūōin conglomerate yet adopts the name Kakeru—"to soar"—to forge an identity beyond corporate obligations. His family comprises father Momojiro, grandfather Mantaro, grandmother Kei, and an unnamed mother. Childhood exposure to his family's corrupt business dealings bred deep cynicism toward love and trust, driving his enrollment at Edel Rose Academy to verify love's existence and cultivate popularity among girls. Publicly, he crafts a flirtatious "charai" persona to veil his insecurities and earnest disposition.

Despite this facade, he diligently oversees company ventures like the Prism System and Prism Watches, surviving on 2–3 hours of nightly sleep while juggling corporate tasks and academics. Secretly, he nurtures otaku passions—devouring all anime genres and collecting figures with Hiro Hayami—while concealing these hobbies and his heartfelt devotion to Prism Shows out of shame.

Corporate strife tests his resolve when Executive Director Sanada conspires with rival Schwarz Rose to frame him for leaking the PRISM System, aiming to oust him from Jūōin Holdings. These trials expose his vulnerability and steel his determination to defend both his company and his purpose at Edel Rose.

As a Prism Star, he performs "Orange Flamingo," deploying the "Cyalume Change" to swap costumes amid neon-lit spectacles and executing signature jumps like "Kakerunomics Fund" and "One Night Heaven." His impact earned third place in the "Prism Show☆Best Ten" fan poll. Interactions with peers—such as hiding Prism Star magazines from Shin—underscore his struggle to reconcile his crafted carefree image with authentic self-expression, reflecting broader themes of self-acceptance against familial and societal pressures.
