TV-Series
Description
Seven, designated Device #7 during his creation, is a Gun Slave Unit—an Over-Extended cyborg imprisoned by the Berühren Corporation for his unstable berserker behavior. His physical design merges a semi-automatic handgun-inspired head, distinct from Juzo Inui’s revolver-like silhouette, with a red coat marked by military badges, armored kneepads, and a metallic jaw housing a double row of teeth. His right arm terminates in a three-pronged claw concealing the Sturm Faust, a shotgun cannon, while his left hand hides an integrated firearm.

Childlike and volatile, Seven displays naivety punctuated by emotional outbursts, frequently sucking nerve-stabilizing lollipops akin to Juzo’s medicinal cigarettes. His psyche revolves around obsessive loyalty to Pepper, his handler, whom he perceives as an owner. This bond, rooted in Pepper’s compatibility with the Hands Unit—a control device triggering Seven’s combat protocols—borders on codependency, compelling him to obey her commands unquestioningly, even against adversaries like Juzo.

A former war asset, Seven’s combat prowess integrates body-mounted firearms and enhanced agility. Activation via the Hands Unit unleashes strength rivaling Juzo’s, nearly severing the latter’s arm in combat. However, his childlike mentality leaves him vulnerable to manipulation, particularly through Pepper’s withholding of sweets as discipline.

His clashes with Juzo stem from Pepper’s rivalry and Seven’s jealousy over her fixation on the cyborg, erupting into destructive confrontations often countered by Juzo’s tactical experience. During one engagement, Tetsurō Arahabaki hijacks Seven’s systems via the Harmony device, compelling Pepper’s retreat.

Originally a berserker weapon, Seven was pacified and repurposed by Pepper into Berühren’s loyal enforcer. His renaming from Device #7 to “Seven” cements his status as a corporate tool, though his interactions with Pepper suggest a one-sided emotional fixation. Tasked with high-profile assassinations like Mega-Armed Tokisada and covert missions, he operates as a conflicted antagonist enmeshed in Berühren’s machinations.
