Description
Johnny Pierce runs a knick-knack shop on Earth. Maya first meets him at Clover Tower, where he freely gives her a Glitter Charm. He later opens a curio store in Seashell Bay, similarly offering Glitter Charms to Rachel and Clara despite their hesitation. Behind this friendly, generous shopkeeper facade lies a significant secret: he hails from the magical kingdom of Splendorius (Trump Kingdom in original media).

He serves as primary caretaker for Dina (Ai in original media), a winged baby he found as an egg beside a river. Johnny entrusts her to the protagonists for babysitting, especially when his duties require help. During an attack by the antagonist Bel, he's electrocuted trying to warn Maya about a trap, resulting in hospitalization. Johnny later discharges himself to aid the protagonists but arrives after they resolve the conflict.

His hidden identity emerges when he intervenes in a battle against Regina, rescuing Glitter Heart while clad in knight's armor. He reveals himself as Sir Jonathan Klondike, a knight of Splendorius once engaged to Princess Marie Angelica. Johnny confirms discovering Dina's egg but knows nothing of her origins. After the princess vanished during Splendorius's invasion, he journeyed to Earth through dimensional mirrors to search for her.

Johnny aids the protagonists in locating the Royal Crystals, leveraging his knowledge of Princess Marie Angelica's interests. He deduces the pink Royal Crystal's location by recreating a train journey he once shared with her. During this mission, he directly confronts Regina to protect the team.

Following Marie Angelica's permanent dissipation—her psyche split into Regina and Aguri—Johnny commits to Dina's continued care. He becomes the first president of the newly formed Republic of Splendorius after the king's retirement. Roughly one year later, he confronts an impersonation attempt by the villain Kurata that nearly sparks international conflict. With the protagonists' help, his leadership is restored.

His significant relationships encompass his deep bond with Princess Marie Angelica, his guardianship of Dina, and his supportive mentorship of the protagonists, frequently hosting them at his shop and involving them in Dina's care.
