Description
Yomi reigns as the primary antagonist, leading the Oracle cult to impose peace through stagnation. His origins trace to harnessing the power of Shangri-La, Climax of "Cruelty" for control, inadvertently causing societal stagnation that ignited the Outrage rebellion. Initially depicted as benevolent in flashbacks, personally protecting believers, his portrayal shifts to ruthless and manipulative in the present, particularly toward his successor and possible son, Izumo.
He first confronts Katta Kirifuda over the Book of Outrage in episode 9, asserting his humanity while claiming divine status as the "greatest of God Nova." His strategic manipulations include hiring Puramai Rei as a masked duelist and orchestrating conflicts through proxies. After losing to Katta in episode 16, he disappears, triggering the Oracle organization's collapse.
