Minori possesses a robotic body blending penguin and humanoid traits, maintaining a compact penguin-like build suited for waddling movement. Her most notable feature is the ability to physically twist her head, switching between a penguin form and a super-deformed humanoid head resembling a young girl—a transformation that can appear unsettling. Her design includes distinctive "hair antennae."

Energetic and persistent, Minori actively engages with Tamaki despite initial resistance, accompanying her throughout their neighborhood in various comedic misadventures. Many escapades involve resolving chaotic situations indirectly caused by Dr. Kakegawa’s penguin-related experiments or his disruptive enthusiasm, such as incidents involving penguins consuming live lobsters or causing local disturbances, often leading to slapstick scenarios.
