Following a containment breach, soldier Yuuji Tamiya, infected by an evolved strain targeting nanomachines, took UNIT-i hostage during his escape from CURE. Despite this hostile act, she later intervened to heal him when his condition worsened, using her powers to stabilize his infection.

Her role evolved when compromised nanomachines caused NOA soldiers at their facility to succumb to the virus. Witnessing Yuuji endangered while confronting infected comrades and CURE operatives, she consciously activated her ability at significant personal cost. This action eradicated all viral traces within the facility, curing the afflicted soldiers and marking a shift from weapon to protector, influenced by emerging connections. During a subsequent large-scale outbreak where the virus mimicked nanomachine capabilities, she committed her full power to purge the infected zone. This exhaustive effort neutralized the threat but depleted her abilities. Ultimately, both she and Yuuji were released from CURE service, transitioning into civilian life free from their previous roles.
