Description
Kanon emerges as a fictional character within the third season of PriPara, part of the Pretty Series franchise. She forms one-third of the idol unit TRiANGLE alongside Junon and Pinon, managed by Usacha (sister of Dressing Pafé's Usagi). Her origin is unconventional: Kanon is not a natural idol but a manifestation meticulously researched and planned by Non Manaka, Laala Manaka's younger sister. She embodies Non's original idol form prior to Non's debut, specifically created to gather intelligence on rival idols and amass support for TRiANGLE in the Divine Idol Grand Prix. This strategic foundation shapes her initial motivations.

Visually, Kanon is defined by magenta hair featuring a distinctive lavender streak resembling the number "1," styled in a side-tail with flared ends. Her look includes teal eyes and chin-length forelocks. She aligns with the "lovely-type" idol classification and favors the Rosette Jewel fashion brand.

Personality-wise, Kanon embodies sweet, humble, and occasionally shy traits typical of "lovely" idols, marked by a frequent use of "ちょぅ" ("chō") for emphasis. Her demeanor presents a calculated duality: approximately half of her expressions and actions serve TRiANGLE's objectives through deliberate deception, while the other half reflects genuine emotion. Her narrative intensifies upon encountering Laala Manaka and the baby Jewlulu (later revealed as judge Jewlie). As part of TRiANGLE, Kanon participates in the Divine Idol Grand Prix tournament. Though TRiANGLE doesn't win, their performances contribute to the collective effort resolving system failures threatening PriPara.

Her core relationships operate within TRiANGLE under Usacha, alongside Junon and Pinon. Her existence remains intrinsically tied to the Manaka family narrative through her origin as Non's creation. The nickname "The Super Cute Flower Girl" and her name's etymology—combining the kanji for "flower" (花) and "sound" (音)—consistently associate her with floral motifs, reinforcing her persona.
