TV-Series
Description
Shiro, a young kashiwa-motchi Dochamon, exhibits immaturity and cowardice, causing others to doubt his potential for growth. His core drive is to aid Dochamon society and achieve his fully developed form—a combination of himself and his friends—to gain respect from his peers, a goal fueled by his deep-seated insecurities and frequent errors.

Okutowing acts as Shiro's primary rival, enjoying greater favor among the Dochamons and boasting of nearing graduation from their world. This rivalry highlights Shiro's ongoing battle with self-confidence and the weight of societal expectations.

A pivotal moment occurs when Shiro ventures into the real world during Season One's conclusion, interacting directly with humans. This represents significant exposure beyond his familiar existence, though he ultimately returns home. His name, meaning "white," directly reflects his physical coloration.
