Description
Thoma, a seven-year-old orphan born August 30, 2038, resided at Grace Field House Plant 3 under Isabella’s care after his 2039 transfer. Classified as "average-quality goods," he bore identification number "55294" tattooed on his neck’s left side.

He sported short black hair styled in three oval sections protruding from his head’s top right and bottom left, paired with black monolid eyes—occasionally described as violet—and a wide, one-tooth-missing smile. His attire consisted of Grace Field’s standard uniform: white long-sleeved shirt, white pants, and brown boots.

Energetic and mischievous, Thoma frequently executed pranks alongside his inseparable best friend Lannion. Despite sporadic cowardice and bluntness, he displayed resourcefulness and fierce determination, cherishing his adoptive Grace Field family deeply. He idolized Emma as an older sister—mimicking her leadership yet playfully pranking her—and respected Ray as a brother, opposing Ray’s self-sacrificial impulses. Thoma and Lannion mirrored each other’s personalities, often finishing sentences in unison and rarely parting during activities.

Thoma joined the escape after Don and Gilda exposed the orphanage’s horrors to him, Lannion, Anna, and Nat. He engineered water rockets with attached ropes, firing them across Grace Field’s cliff to create zip lines for the January 15, 2046, escape. He also crafted a decoy to aid Ray.

Journeying through the Promised Forest, Thoma and Lannion played on bridging trees until wild demons attacked. Rescued by Mujika and Sonju, Thoma learned archery from Sonju during their alliance. Six days later, the group discovered Shelter B06-32, finding unsettling "Help" messages scrawled inside.

While foraging and hunting at the shelter, Thoma and Lannion captured a sticky "Goowee" fish, devising a slingshot method to harvest them efficiently. After a month, house pursuers stormed the shelter, forcing the children into the demon-infested woods.

Seeking refuge in a temple near a demon village, Thoma and Lannion crafted demon disguises to infiltrate the settlement for supplies. Their human scent triggered a market chase. Here, Thoma reunited with Norman, initially supporting Norman’s demon-eradication plan before aligning with Emma’s peaceful alternative. Guarding the temple later, he and Lannion spotted suspicious smoke from the village, suspecting Norman’s interference.

During the Return to Grace Field arc, Thoma and Lannion alerted Ray about Phil’s shipment—a trap orchestrated by Peter Ratri and Isabella. Thoma participated in the facility rescue, witnessing Isabella’s defection. After escaping to the human world, he lived peacefully. Years later, he played airplane games with Lannion, Dominic, and Chris, eventually reuniting with Emma.

Thoma honed archery under Sonju’s forest tutelage, later employing it against pursuers. His resourcefulness extended beyond combat, epitomized by the water-rocket invention pivotal to the initial escape.
