Description
Phil competes in Alola's Pokémon Catch Adventure Race alongside his brother Mayshure as the energetic All-Out Brothers. Immediately recognizing Ash Ketchum as Alola League Champion, the duo expresses excitement and admiration before enthusiastically challenging Ash and Goh to the race.
During the event, the brothers struggle to execute Kommo-o's Z-Move, Clangorous Soulblaze. Multiple attempts yield weak results, failing to break obstacles or capture targets. Ash advises them that true Z-Move success requires synchronization between Trainer and Pokémon's hearts, not just a Z-Ring. Heeding this, the brothers recommit.
When Team Rocket captures Pokémon like Pikachu and Passimian, the All-Out Brothers intervene. Drawing on Ash's guidance and motivated to protect others, they achieve synchronization with Kommo-o, unleashing a full-powered Clangorous Soulblaze that defeats Team Rocket and frees the captured Pokémon. This action earns them a special prize of malasadas and recognition.
Post-race, they thank Ash for his pivotal advice enabling their Z-Move success and express their intent to challenge him to a future battle.
