Banas is widely recognized for his role as the voice of Thoma in the popular video game Genshin Impact. His journey to landing this part involved a competitive audition process; he initially tried out for various non-player characters and also auditioned for the five-star character Kaedehara Kazuha, advancing far in the selection for that role before ultimately being cast as the four-star housekeeper Thoma. His colleagues in the Genshin Impact voice cast, including Jennifer Losi and Cory Yee, were supportive during his pursuit of a playable character role.

Beyond these prominent roles, Banas's voice work spans a variety of other projects. In anime, he has been heard in series such as Ikebukuro West Gate Park as Watanabe, The Prince of Tennis II as Tonpei Hirari, and Shimajirō no Wow! as Mimi's Dad and a narrator. He also provided the voice of Aidan Russell in the children's animated series Rainbow High. His extensive video game credits include Mango Cookie in Cookie Run: Kingdom, Steve in Dying Light 2 Stay Human, Luchino in Identity V, and additional voices in Lost Ark. He has also done voice work for live-action dubs, such as the Netflix series Twenty-Five Twenty-One and Love is Blind: Japan.
