TV-Series
Description
Kronen von Wolf functions as a section chief in the Extended Management Bureau (EMS), a Reconstruction Agency division regulating cybernetically augmented humans, known as Extended. He operates directly under EMS director Olivier Vandeberme, frequently handling high-priority assignments targeting dangerous renegade Extended.

Physically slender, he is consistently depicted in formal, designer-style attire. His facial features often display a snide expression marked by high-arched brows and a frequent smirk.

His personality centers on an unwavering,近乎机械的 devotion to legal enforcement, treating regulations as absolute and demanding compliance without question or remorse. He openly expresses disdain for Extended, frequently comparing them to tools or machinery. Yet, he professes contempt for their perceived lack of autonomy while exhibiting similar unquestioning obedience to superiors like Olivier, suggesting his adherence stems from personal conviction. Despite his rigid exterior, he demonstrates independent thought, such as temporarily withholding arrest actions against Juzo Inui after their cooperation against Hayden Gondry.

His primary combat ability involves throwing specialized needles coated in poison or precisely targeting vital neural points on an Extended's body. This technique immobilizes opponents significantly larger or more physically powerful than himself, compensating for his purely human physiology. He possesses high agility and has memorized the vital points of all known Extended models, making him a formidable agent despite lacking cybernetic enhancements.

Within the series' narrative, he is first prominently involved tracking escaped prisoners from the Beruhren research facility. He intervenes to stop the rampaging Extended Hug Bear, who killed several EMS agents and threatened others. Kronen later confronts Juzo Inui during Juzo's investigation into escapee Hayden Gondry, attacking him while citing strict adherence to legal procedures and expressing skepticism about Juzo's motives. Their fight concludes with Kronen exhausting his needles and withdrawing, but vowing continued surveillance.

His operational path intersects with Juzo's again during the pursuit of Gondry. He assists Juzo in protecting Mega-Armed Tokisada from Gondry, using his needles to temporarily halt Gondry's attack, though Gondry escapes initially. He later receives orders to stand down after Olivier Vandeberme's suspension and a shift in EMS leadership towards lethal measures against Gondry. Disregarding these orders, he covertly rejoins the operation. When Juzo incapacitates Gondry, Kronen immobilizes him by striking his exposed sub-brain with needles, ensuring his capture alive to reveal truths about a past war incident, demonstrating a willingness to bypass direct orders to achieve the legal objective of capturing a criminal alive for trial.

Following Gondry's capture, Kronen participates in transporting him. When Tokisada attacks the transport to prevent Gondry from divulging secrets, Kronen is knocked unconscious during the clash.

He reappears later, informing Juzo about the Gun Slave Unit Seven and his handler Pepper attacking Olivier. He also reveals the search warrant for Tetsurō Arahabaki has been rescinded, implying awareness of undisclosed factors.

His relationship with Olivier Vandeberme is defined by professional loyalty as her subordinate, though he frequently questions her leniency towards Juzo Inui. He maintains persistent distrust towards Extended, particularly Over-Extended like Juzo, viewing them as inherently unstable. This distrust fuels recurring conflict with Juzo, though circumstances force uneasy cooperation during critical missions like the Gondry case, leading to a degree of begrudging, professional acknowledgment despite unresolved fundamental philosophical differences regarding Extended.
