Description
Chloe, whose real name is Hanako Kuroe, is a playable character who belongs to the St. Theresa's Academy (Friendship Club) guild. She is a seventeen-year-old elf who stands 154 centimeters tall. Chloe lives on the outskirts of Landsol in a poor district with her mother and younger siblings. Due to her family's financial struggles, she earned a scholarship to attend St. Theresa's Girls Academy, a school typically attended by students from wealthy families.

To support her family and her own education, Chloe works multiple part-time jobs. She initially took on work in sketchy establishments, including a bar known for rowdy patrons and an illegal tools shop, as these positions paid relatively well. Over time, she transitioned to working at a legitimate second-hand clothes shop in town. In the real world, Chloe is a student at a private school where she also works part-time at a cafe. Her appearance in the game world features twintailed blonde hair and a disheveled school uniform, while in reality she has strawberry blonde hair tied in a side ponytail.

Chloe has a disinterested and negative personality that leads many of her classmates to view her as a delinquent and fear her. She typically speaks in a monotone voice with short sentences and uses words like whatever frequently, showing little interest in most aspects of life. She rarely shows excitement or high motivation, often reacting indifferently even in serious situations. Chloe is also brutally honest and cynical, freely speaking her mind about inconvenient topics without caring what others think of her.

Despite this cold exterior, Chloe is genuinely a kind girl who is good at taking care of others. As the eldest sister looking after at least three younger brothers, she has developed a caring and responsible nature that she rarely shows openly. Her difficult upbringing and experiences with discrimination as an elf whose ancestors were displaced by a major disaster have shaped her defensive personality as a coping mechanism. The elves were treated as an inferior minority after their forest was ruined, and Chloe continues to face this discrimination.

Chloe is a member of the Friendship Club at St. Theresa's Academy, alongside her guildmates Yuni and Chieru. Together, this trio forms one of the main guilds introduced in the game. Chloe serves as the physical or athletic member of the group, providing the practical and action-oriented balance to her more eccentric companions.

Her primary motivation is to protect her family and secure her place at the academy. The Friendship Club becomes a significant part of her life as it offers her a sense of belonging and a place where she is accepted despite her rough exterior. During the St. Theresa's School Festival event, the student council threatened to disband the Friendship Club, and Chloe fought passionately to defend her guild, demonstrating how much her found family with Yuni and Chieru means to her. She shows particular care toward the protagonist, being protective and helpful when he gets lost.

Chloe has undergone development primarily through event storylines. The school festival arc revealed her willingness to put forth maximum effort when something she values is at stake, contrasting sharply with her usual apathetic demeanor. Her relationship with her younger brothers also shows her softer side, as she happily spends time with them at festival attractions.

In combat, Chloe is a physical character who fights on the front lines as a vanguard. Her fighting style revolves around accumulating attacks against enemies. Each time she attacks, she applies a stack of a special debuff effect called Shrinking to all enemies, which can stack up to 66 times. This debuff enhances her other abilities, allowing her to deal increased damage and reduce enemy defenses based on the number of stacks. Her signature moves include her Union Burst called Dark曙光, which deals massive physical damage to a single enemy, along with abilities that boost her own physical attack while lowering enemy physical attack and defense. Her hobby is darts, which likely contributes to her precision in combat.
