Description
Alec serves as protagonist in an animated miniseries set in the Hisui region. As a child, he sports short brown hair and lilac eyes, dressed in a dark blue overcoat over a beige kimono with an orange scarf. He carries a red Baneful Fox Mask and exhibits an adventurous, mischievous personality, showing curiosity and friendliness towards Pokémon despite his father's warnings against human-Pokémon coexistence. Visiting the Alabaster Forest with his father, he encounters a Hisuian Zorua. When his mask falls off while approaching it, they tumble down a cliff together. Though Alec injures his leg, the Zorua helps by finding medicinal roots to heal him. Alec's attempt to bring the Zorua home fails when his father reacts with hostility, causing the Zorua to flee. His father reinforces his belief in impossible coexistence and abandons the mask in the forest, leaving a lasting impact on Alec.
As an adult, Alec's appearance changes: he wears his long brown hair in a low ponytail and dons a white and lavender kimono with a dark grey sash, a dark brown overcoat, and an orange scarf. In snowy conditions, he adds a dark overcoat, white scarf, and straw boots. His personality evolves into mild-mannered, hardworking, and modest. He studies medicine to bridge the gap between humans and Pokémon, directly opposing his father's teachings. He travels to Hisui to visit his father, search for medicinal herbs, and reunite with the Zorua from his childhood.
During this visit, Alec rescues an injured Rufflet during a space-time distortion, facing criticism from villagers and his father. Later, accompanied by the Security Corps, he insists on rescuing wounded Snover despite objections. When an Alpha Garchomp attacks the group, a Hisuian Zoroark—revealed as his childhood Zorua—intervenes, unleashing illusions to scare the Garchomp away. Alec recognizes the Zoroark's gaze before fainting, confirming it remembered him. Upon waking, he finds the Zoroark has returned his childhood Baneful Fox Mask. This reunion solidifies his commitment to fostering human-Pokémon understanding.
Leaving Hisui by ship, Alec's father gives him a new mask resembling the abandoned one. Alec wears this mask and releases an echoing howl towards the shore, symbolizing his enduring bond with the Zoroark and dedication to his ideals.
