TV Special
Description
Anne, one of Saga Bergman's two closest friends alongside Norma, lives in the fictional German town of Muhlenburg. Taller, quieter, more modest, and more intelligent than the shorter, fashion-obsessed Norma, both friends remain deeply concerned for Saga and strive to support her.

Her experience watching "The Bear Pianist" during The Hammond Theater Troupe's visit to Muhlenburg sparks a specific interest in theater and literature. This inspiration leads Anne to study Shakespeare and pursue playwriting. In the official OVA, "A Little Snow Fairy Sugar Summer Special," she authors an original play, "The Princess and the Fairy," for her class to produce. For this class production, Saga volunteers for the Princess role, classmate Greta portrays the evil witch, and Anne herself takes a minor role as a background forest animal.

During the Muhlenburg Festival, Anne wears a distinctive medieval-style costume: a medium-length blue sleeveless dress layered over a white long-sleeved button-up shirt, accessorized with a white apron at the waist, a white petticoat, and black ballet flats. Years later, Saga's grandmother discovers this same dress in an attic, serving as the catalyst for the now 15-year-old Saga to recall the events surrounding Anne's play within the OVA's narrative framing device.
