Description
Anne is one of Saga Bergmann’s closest friends in the fictional German town of Muhlenburg. She is taller, quieter, more modest, and more intelligent than her peers, and she shows deep concern for Saga’s well-being. Inspired by a performance of “The Bear Pianist” by the Hammond Theater Troupe, Anne develops an interest in theater and literature, studies Shakespeare, and pursues playwriting. In the OVA, she writes an original play titled “The Princess and the Fairy” for her class to produce, taking a minor role as a background forest animal. During the Muhlenburg Festival, Anne wears a medieval-style costume consisting of a medium-length blue sleeveless dress over a white long-sleeved button-up shirt, with a white apron at the waist, a white petticoat, and black ballet flats. Years later, that same dress is discovered in an attic, prompting an older Saga to recall the events surrounding Anne’s play.
