Description
Father, known as Kento Yamada, is the working patriarch of the Yamada family and a graphic designer who often works from home. His wife and son first brought the lost kitten Chi home, presenting him with an immediate dilemma due to their housing complex's strict no-pets policy. He actively sought a new home for Chi initially, but practical challenges and the family's growing bond led to the collective choice to keep her.

Over time, Father developed a strong affection for Chi and actively seeks her attention. However, his essential household duties frequently require him to perform tasks Chi dislikes or fears, causing occasional friction. These tasks include taking her to veterinary appointments and performing necessary grooming, such as claw trimming. While these necessary actions sometimes result in Chi being briefly upset with him, they arise from his practical responsibilities to ensure her well-being and household compliance.

Father consistently demonstrates care and attentiveness towards Chi within the family. When an unexpected business trip to Okinawa arises, his immediate concern is arranging proper care for her during his absence, reflecting his steadfast commitment to her stability and comfort. Ultimately, the entire family, including Chi, accompanies him to Okinawa after plans change. During this vacation, he participates alongside his wife and son Yohei in navigating new experiences and meeting unfamiliar characters in the tropical setting.
