Description
Igor faithfully serves Count Dracula and his daughter Chocola following their move from Transylvania to Tokyo. He resides with them in Castle Dracula, which was shipped to Japan by a mercantile company unaware of its vampiric occupants. His responsibilities encompass practical duties such as driving the family's horse-drawn carriage and managing the castle's daily operations. A recurring task involves vacuuming the ashes left when Dracula or Chocola disintegrate from sunlight exposure and subsequently reconstituting them using a magic spell that requires a cup of blood combined with the vacuum's contents. Despite his fierce outward appearance, Igor possesses a kind-hearted and polite nature, contrasting the traditional grotesque assistant archetype. A notable weakness causes him significant distress when exposed to naked women, often rendering him non-functional. His unwavering loyalty is demonstrated through consistent support for the family's nocturnal activities and mitigating disruptions caused by their vampire traits in human society, exemplified by assisting Dracula during a severe blood-craving episode by rescuing him from a dental clinic after an encounter with garlic and a red-cross-marked ambulance.
