Description
Bartra Liones, the eleventh king of the Kingdom of Liones, fathered Margaret and Veronica. He adopted Elizabeth Liones after Meliodas brought her to Liones following Danafor's destruction. In his youth, Prince Bartra lived with his siblings Denzel and Nadja. His sister Nadja discovered Gowther in a cavern beneath the castle, prompting Bartra to allow Gowther to stay as Nadja's maid, inadvertently establishing Gowther's crossdressing habit. When Gowther was falsely blamed for Nadja's death, Bartra prevented Denzel from seeking vengeance after observing Nadja died with a smile. Later, Bartra saved a young boy named Slader from barbarians, securing Slader's lifelong loyalty as a Holy Knight.
Bartra possesses the precognitive ability Vision, enabling him to perceive future events through dreams and omens. Guided by these visions, he foresaw Elizabeth's adoption and the formation of the Seven Deadly Sins as Liones's protectors. He subsequently knighted the Seven Deadly Sins and provided them with Sacred Treasures. He also foresaw the inevitability of the Holy War but ordered his Holy Knights to lay down arms to prevent it, resulting in a coup and his imprisonment.
