Michael Bideller is a German actor and voice actor with a career spanning several decades. Born in Munich in 1954, he began his professional career on stage in 1975 and has since built an extensive body of work in theatre, television, and voice acting. In addition to his performance work, he has also taken on roles in dialogue direction and as an author for theatrical productions.

Bideller is highly active in German dubbing, providing the German voice for characters in numerous international films, television series, and video games. His voice is featured in a wide range of anime and animated productions. Among his notable roles are Antonio in the fantasy series The Faraway Paladin, a role for which he is credited in both the first and second seasons of the German dub. He also voiced Baltra Liones in The Seven Deadly Sins: Imperial Wrath of The Gods and provided the voice for Maya's Father in Glitter Force Doki Doki.

His extensive filmography in anime includes a diverse array of characters across many popular series. Some of these roles include Torres Nada Cadio in The Dawn of the Witch, Rupert Olgran in Wise Man's Grandchild, Hugo in The Seven Deadly Sins, and Euripides Ritzland in Love of Kill. He is also credited as the narrator for The Hidden Dungeon Only I Can Enter and voiced Katakuriko Matsudaira in both the Gintama television series and film. More recently, he took on the role of Roumen in the German dub of The Apothecary Diaries. Beyond anime, his voice work for German television also includes narrations for series such as Thomas & Friends.

Bideller's voice is also prominent in the German versions of major video game franchises. He has lent his voice to characters in critically acclaimed titles such as Fallout 4, and has voiced Gandalf in the ongoing game The Lord of the Rings Online, a role for which he has also handled dialogue direction. He is also known for voicing the iconic detective in several Sherlock Holmes video games, including Sherlock Holmes: Secret of the Silver Earring. His other game credits include the Deponia series and Wolfenstein: The New Order.

In addition to his voice work, Bideller maintains an active career as an on-screen actor in German film and television. He has appeared in numerous popular German TV series, including Polizeiruf 110, Notruf Hafenkante, Die Pfefferkörner, Rote Rosen, SOKO Hamburg, and Der Landarzt. He also continues to perform regularly in theatre productions in Hamburg, where he is based.
