Princess Rona Pricipa O'Lapanesta, ruler of the Lapanesta kingdom, dreams of marrying a legendary hero. Learning of Yulia "Yusha" Chardiet's emergence as a hero, she journeys to Yusha's adventurer school. During a public festival, Rona uses a magical Cartado card to formally confirm Yusha's status as the recognized hero, solidifying her support and joining the hero's party. She enrolls at the school to be near Yusha and chronicles the party's adventures using her unique Cartado. Gentle yet mischievous, Rona interacts with others regardless of social standing, though her enthusiastic support for Yusha sometimes causes disruptions, like organizing unnecessary events or gifting rare Cartados to Mei with unintended consequences. She possesses low athleticism and cannot swim. Rona's romantic feelings for Yusha evolve beyond initial hero worship into genuine affection, expressed through actions like running to hug Yusha during visits or initiating tea parties. To connect with Yusha's world, she actively engages her companions: she learns survival skills and a "feral" approach from Fai in the forest, and explores Mei's Cartado-focused world, though she declines to share her own collection of mythical Cartados. Her character development sees her transition from a distant admirer to an integrated group member. While her early focus was hero worship, she gradually forms individual bonds with each party member, broadening her understanding of their world beyond Yusha.
