Momo Asakura is a Japanese voice actress and singer born on June 25, 1994, in Fukuoka Prefecture. She is affiliated with the agency Music Ray'n. Her interest in becoming a voice actress began during her middle school years and continued through high school. In 2011, she was one of three winners, alongside Sora Amamiya and Shiina Natsukawa, of an audition held by Music Ray'n, a sub-label of Sony Music Entertainment Japan, which launched her professional career.

Asakura made her voice acting debut in 2012 with a minor role as Yumi in the anime series My Little Monster. In the following years, she gained experience through various supporting roles in series such as Sakura Trick, Witch Craft Works, and Sword Art Online II. Her first major leading role came in 2015 when she was cast as Ayumi Otosaka in the anime television series Charlotte. That same year, she also voiced the character Manako in Monster Musume and Yuyu Aizawa in Aria the Scarlet Ammo AA.

In 2014, it was announced that Asakura would form the voice acting unit TrySail with her fellow Music Ray'n audition winners, Sora Amamiya and Shiina Natsukawa. The unit made its musical debut in 2015 with the single Youthful Dreamer. Beyond her work with TrySail, Asakura launched her solo singing career in 2016 with the single Ashita wa Kimi to, which was used as an insert song for the anime film Suki ni Naru Sono Shunkan o: Kokuhaku Jikkō Iinkai. The single peaked at number eight on the Oricon weekly charts. She has since released multiple solo albums, including Peachy! in 2018 and Agapanthus in 2020, both of which charted in the top ten on Oricon.

Asakura has built an extensive and diverse filmography across anime television series, films, and video games. Among her many notable roles in anime are Princess Rona in Endro!, Nagisa Kashiwagi in the Kaguya-sama: Love is War series, Momoko Sudō in O Maidens in Your Savage Season, Iroha Tamaki in Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story, Rikekuma in Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It, Honoka Sawada in Horimiya and its sequel Horimiya -piece-, Hotaru Hiraiwa in Akebi's Sailor Uniform, Hina Setoguchi in the Kokuhaku Jikkō Iinkai film series and the television series Heroines Run the Show, Miri Yanagiba in WWW.WAGNARIA!!, Mikan Irako in High School Fleet, Mami Miura in The Island of Giant Insects, and Mio Tokinoya in Protocol: Rain. Her work also extends to video games, where she is well-known for voicing Serika Hakozaki in The Idolmaster Million Live! series. She is also set to voice the role of Arianne Treviers in the 2025 anime adaptation With Vengeance, Sincerely, Your Broken Saintess.
