Description
Momoko Sudō, a dedicated member of her school’s literary club, possesses a soft-spoken demeanor and selfless disposition that consistently places her friends’ well-being above her own. Hesitant at first to engage with Niina Sugawara due to Niina’s striking presence, she gradually forms a deep admiration for Niina’s humility, determination, and distinct personality. This evolving connection sparks one-sided romantic feelings in Momoko, manifesting in gestures like embracing Niina from behind and vocalizing her longing for greater closeness.

Her inexperience with romantic attraction—having never harbored feelings for boys—initially leads her to misinterpret her emotions as uncertainty. Over time, she comes to recognize the genuineness of her affection. This self-discovery intertwines with emotional turmoil when Niina’s involvement in a love triangle with mutual acquaintance Izumi Norimoto plunges Momoko into depression. She confronts Niina, challenging the value of pursuing romantic entanglements that risk fracturing meaningful friendships, and wrestles with the tension between love and loyalty.

Standing 156 centimeters tall with her hair styled in twin pigtails, Momoko’s interactions within the literary club and her introspective exploration of her sexuality underscore her growth. Her narrative arc traces a journey from confusion to clarity, anchored in navigating unreciprocated feelings and reconciling internal conflicts, all while maintaining focus on her evolving self-awareness.
