Description
Ronie Arabel, a noble-born trainee from a sixth-class family, enrolls in the Sword Mastery Academy to restore her family’s prestige. Though ranked among her year’s top twelve students, she and her closest friend, Tiese Shtolienen, are overlooked by higher-ranking nobles for valet positions due to their modest status, eventually serving as pages to Kirito and Eugeo after others claim priority.
Under Kirito’s rigorous mentorship—whom she admires without knowing his initial reluctance—she endures intense training. Her resolve is tested when nobles Raios Antinous and Humbert Zizek target her and Tiese in retaliation for defending a peer. Though Kirito and Eugeo intervene, Ronie battles lingering guilt over their mentors’ arrest and Eugeo’s death, which she internalizes as her fault.
Post-war, she joins the Integrity Knights as an apprentice, guarding the comatose Kirito and combating rebellions orchestrated by power-hungry former nobles. On a mission to Obsidia, she obtains the Moonbeam Sword, a Divine Object channeling light-based attacks and healing. Its creation—whether shaped by her resolve or hidden potential—remains unclear.
In *Moon Cradle*, she spearheads investigations into sacred arts conspiracies and political schemes, deepening her bond with her dragon, Tsukikage. She confronts unspoken feelings for Kirito, quietly accepting his bond with Asuna while forging a steadfast friendship. Decades later, in *Unital Ring*, she and Tiese awaken from stasis to aid descendants against emerging threats, proving their combat expertise remains undimmed.
Her journey traces a path from self-doubt to strategic mastery, balancing loyalty to peers like Tiese and mentors like Kirito with a dedication to justice. Beyond battlefield prowess, she influences post-war governance, embodying resilience and adaptability in a society grappling with change.
