Description
Lizbeth, whose real name is Shinozaki Rika, is a supporting character in Sword Art Online II. She was one of the ten thousand players trapped inside the death game Sword Art Online, where she established herself as a skilled blacksmith. In the virtual world, she operated her own smithing shop on the forty-eighth floor of Aincrad, specializing in crafting high-quality weapons. After the game was cleared, she continued to play in ALfheim Online as a Leprechaun blacksmith. She is known for her friendly and outgoing personality, easily making friends with those she meets. She takes great pride in her craftsmanship and becomes defensive and aggressive if someone challenges her abilities. Her motivations are rooted in supporting her friends through her smithing skills and being a reliable ally in battle. In Sword Art Online II, she appears both in the real world and in the virtual realm, providing moral support and assistance to Kirito and the group as they investigate events related to the new full-dive game. One of her most significant roles is as a close friend of Asuna, and she develops a brief romantic interest in Kirito. However, upon realizing that Asuna shares deeper feelings for him, she chooses to step aside and strengthen her friendship with both of them instead. This decision marks a key moment in her personal development, showing her growth from a solitary craftsman to a loyal friend who values the bonds she has formed. In terms of abilities, Lizbeth is a highly accomplished blacksmith who forged Asuna's rapier Lambent Light and Kirito's sword Dark Repulser. In combat, she wields a mace effectively and can hold her own in battle, though her primary strength remains her smithing expertise. In later games and story arcs, she adopts more practical combat gear and continues to fight alongside her companions while honing her crafting skills.
