Ryuhei Nabeshima, known to most as "Nabe," is a second-year student at Kuzuryū High School standing 173 centimeters tall. He initially had no affiliation with the basketball club but chose to join after Sora Kurumatani's arrival, a decision that helped transform the club from a delinquents' gathering place into a genuine basketball team.

Entering the sport without prior experience, Nabe possessed only fundamental skills requiring significant development. His early progression was characterized by persistent frustration and sharp self-criticism, frequently chafing at his perceived lack of improvement and slow skill acquisition. This acute awareness of his shortcomings defined much of his initial involvement.

Despite these challenges, he persevered, continuing to participate in practices and team activities. His commitment involved dedicated practice to refine his techniques and understanding of the game, continuing to develop his abilities. His interactions and forming connections with teammates like Sora Kurumatani, Momoharu Hanazono, and Chiaki Hanazono became part of his integration into the team. He contributes as a relatively new member striving to improve amidst the team's broader revival efforts.
