Description
Sei Shiraishi is a second-year student at Yokohama Taiei High and a key player on the school's basketball team, a top contender in Inter-High tournaments. Standing 183 cm tall with medium-length dark hair and dark eyes, he wears jersey number 10 and AND1 Tai Chi Mid sneakers during games.

Shiraishi possesses a strict, blunt demeanor that intimidates freshmen and contributes to his cool, stoic reputation. His intense focus on basketball is driven by an ambition formed in sixth grade: to become an NBA player. This fuels his competitive nature and direct communication style. He openly challenges others' decisions, questioning why Tokitaka Tokiwa chose a less competitive school like Shinmaruko and telling Keisuke Mineta to quit immediately if lacking commitment. During matches, he asserts dominance over opponents, stating he would not hold back even against a kindergartner.

As Yokohama Taiei's primary scorer or "ace," Shiraishi possesses nationally recognized skills despite being a sophomore, ranking among the Kanto region's most talented players. His versatility allows him to efficiently play multiple positions, including power forward and small forward, as demonstrated against Kuzuryū High. He scores effectively both inside and outside the paint and adapts quickly to different court roles. His skills are assessed as: Physical Ability (9/10), Technique (10/10), Stamina (10/10), Mental Strength (10/10), and Special Ability (10/10).

His surname combines the characters for "white" (白) and "stone" (石); his given name Sei means "humble." His interactions, however, emphasize competitiveness and a priority for victory and personal excellence over humility. He maintains a rivalry with teammate Shigenobu Yakuma, reflecting friction within the team dynamic.
