Description
Yumemitchi is a female Tamagotchi character from the *Tamagotchi! Yume Kira Dream* anime. She lives in Dream Town within a massive, maze-like mansion belonging to her extremely wealthy family, accompanied by a personal butler and limousine. After a friend once got lost inside her home for three days, Yumemitchi developed exceptional navigation skills for complex spaces.
Her primary goal is to become a nationally recognized idol. She attends Dream School, diligently taking singing and dance lessons with her close friend and dance partner, Kiraritchi. Gentle, polite, and caring towards friends, Yumemitchi can also be somewhat laid-back. Despite her aristocratic background, she remains humble and hardworking, focusing intensely on her studies and idol training. She adores cute accessories like ribbons and has a fondness for Tama Pets. Her fears include needles and, less intensely, roller coasters.
A pivotal moment occurs when she and Kiraritchi receive mysterious "Yume Kira Bags" from an elderly fortune teller at a circus. These bags allow them to transform into specialized roles, such as idols or patissiers, to overcome challenges or help others. Yumemitchi's bag is pink. The duo initially keeps their transformative abilities secret after winning a Dream Festival contest as idols went unrecognized upon reverting to their normal forms. She is a fan of the group D2, particularly Daisy Dance, and performs as a guitarist and vocalist in the band Kira Kira Girls, singing original songs like "Rock 'N' Heart!".
Throughout the series, Yumemitchi experiences significant development. She and Kiraritchi master their Yume Kira Bags and eventually leave Dream Town for Melody Land to advance their idol training. In later series like *Tamagotchi! Miracle Friends* and *GO-GO Tamagotchi!*, they return as established idols, forming the Kira Kira Girls band after inspiration from Nadeshikotchi. Their performances sometimes include collaborations with characters like Lovelitchi.
Beyond the anime, Yumemitchi appears across various Tamagotchi virtual pets and games. She debuted on the Tamagotchi P's in Japan and the Tamagotchi Friends internationally, with specific evolution requirements tied to traits like Intelligence, Charisma, or Social/Performer classes. In games like *Tamagotchi no Doki Doki Dream Omisetchi*, she runs the Idol Concert hall. She features as an NPC in *Tamagotchi Pix* (triggered by pink/red camera colors) and *Tamagotchi Uni*, performing at the LoveMelo ♪ Concert in the Tamaverse. Recent events like the February 2025 "Yumekira☆ Stage" Tama Arena event highlight her ongoing idol activities with Kiraritchi.
Additionally, Yumemitchi has numerous transformation forms across Tamagotchi media, primarily activated via decorative "Pierces" on the Tamagotchi P's:
* Kokonetchi (CIAO Pierce), modeled after a manga character.
* Minnie Change (Disney Pierce), dressed as Minnie Mouse.
* Yumemiroll (Sanrio Pierce), resembling Cinnamoroll.
* Yume Kaguya (Royal Change! Pierce), styled after Kaguya-hime.
* Yume-Fai Ribbon (Fairy Change! Pierce), as a ribbon-wrapped fairy.
* Yumeminitchi (Baby Change! Pierce), transformed into a baby.
* Sakura Yumemi (Dream to Change! Ribbon Pierce), as a sakura-themed enka singer.
