She wields a stylus to generate protective barriers. Primarily a calm listener during conversations with Oni, she provides a grounded counterpart to their interactions. The character design reflects her real-world inspiration, modeled after irodori artist Yoshihisa Isa, alias "Heian".
Neko and Oni explore various abandoned Tokyo settings resembling Nakano Broadway, Shinjuku Station, Odaiba, and the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, forming the backdrop for their exchanges. Beyond the main series, Neko appears alongside Oni in the special recap episode 12.5 and in New Year's Eve special episodes released in 2021 and 2022.
