Description
Mikan Shiratama is an 11-year-old human girl introduced in the second season of PriPara. She possesses round golden eyes and striking scarlet-red hair, typically worn in a high, back-length ponytail that curls upwards at the end, featuring loose curly side strands and a prominent cowlick. Outside PriPara, her ponytail shortens, adorned with a distinctive wing clip featuring a small orange. After transferring to Avocado Academy, she wears the standard uniform with attached wings.
Her personality radiates cheerful optimism and a happy-go-lucky, angelic demeanor. Mikan habitually refers to herself in the third person and ends sentences with "~nano." She shares a profound, formative childhood bond with Aroma Kurosu, having helped Aroma break out of her shell. This deep connection led to the creation of their idol unit, Aromageddon, later renamed Gaarmageddon upon adding the vocal doll Gaaruru. She and Aroma land in Pegypt, where Mikan locates the entrance to the local PriPara within a pyramid submerged under a lake. They perform there to gather "likes" (Sparkle power) before reuniting with the other idols in Pripari for a decisive group performance that resolves the crisis.
Later becoming roommates with Aroma at Avocado Academy, Mikan celebrates her birthday on October 4th, making her a Libra. She remains the only main character introduced in Season 2 who hasn't been the center of a Dream Team, yet holds the distinction of winning three consecutive Dream Idol Grand Prix without any losses and never undergoing a Fairy Change.
