Description
Laala Manaka begins her journey as a 10-11-year-old elementary student at Paprika Academy, later aging to 12. Defying rules barring elementary students from PriPara’s idol world, she enters using a discovered PriTicket once owned by idol Mirei Minami. Her everyday look features lavender hair in twin buns with a cowlick and a pink bow bearing a yellow heart—a keepsake from friend Nao—paired with teal eyes and a petite frame. Transforming into an idol elongates her pigtails, adds curled ends, and temporarily heightens her stature to a middle-schooler’s, while retaining Nao’s bow.
Known for relentless cheer and grit, she peppers speech with “Capisce!” (“Kashikoma!”), a nod to her family’s pasta restaurant upbringing. Though insecure about her loud voice, she channels it into performances where her unexplained “Prism Voice” ability shines.
She recruits younger sister Non to hide her idol pursuits and forges SoLaMi♡SMILE with Mirei and Sophy Hojo, later expanding into units like SoLaMi♡Dressing. Her bond with robotic vocal doll Falulu deepens from idol admiration to mutual friendship, exchanging Friends Tickets to awaken Falulu’s emotions. Competitions like the Dream and Divine Idol Grand Prix mark her growth, alongside raising Jewlulu—a baby later revealed as the missing judge Jewlie—with Non’s aid, while mending PriPara’s systemic disruptions through teamwork.
In spin-offs *Idol Time PriPara* and *Idol Land PriPara*, she shifts from lead to secondary roles, facing challenges like a glitched PriTicket altering her idol form. Crossovers like *PriPara & Kiratto Pri☆Chan Movie: Sparkling Memorial Live* cement her franchise presence.
Balancing idol life with duties at Papa’s Pasta, her family’s restaurant, her narrative weaves themes of perseverance, friendship, and collaborative ambition.
