Description
Camus hails from the Kingdom of Permafrost's Silk Palace, a scion of an earl family pledged to its queen. Swearing fealty led him to adopt the name "Camus" and abandon any surname, adhering to Permafrost tradition. His unwavering loyalty to the Silk Queen shapes his core motivations and personal code.

Physically, he stands tall at 184 cm with a slender build of 71 kg, possessing a pale complexion, long blonde hair, and icy blue eyes. His elegant attire favors formal white and navy clothing accented with silver. He carries a scepter-like rod featuring a blue gem that includes a functional light switch and uses spectacles for reading.

His personality displays a stark duality. Publicly, Camus is charismatic, gracious, and gentlemanly, especially towards female fans, cultivating an image reminiscent of a "butler" idol. Privately, he reveals coldness and callousness, showing minimal interest in relationships beyond professional duty. This extends to mentoring Cecil Aijima; he openly derides Cecil as "foolish" or "rotten-headed" while grudgingly fulfilling his training role. He frequently clashes with bandmate Ranmaru Kurosaki due to opposing temperaments, their disputes escalating to acts like Camus freezing hallways in retaliation.

His aristocratic interests include horse riding, fencing, ice skating (executing triple axels), and playing the cello. He owns a borzoi dog named Alexander, resembling him in appearance, and prefers summer for extended walks. Camus enjoys sweets accompanied by tea, often carrying sugar and condensed milk. He maintains an extremely cold living environment (30°C daytime, 10–20°C nighttime), leveraging his natural cold resistance.

As Cecil’s senior in Saotome Academy’s Master Course, Camus employs harsh methods to instill idol fundamentals. He challenges Cecil and ST☆RISH to non-musical competitions aiming to prove Cecil’s inadequacy, asserting that idol success depends on "shining" above technical skill. Over time, his rigid demeanor subtly softens, particularly through interactions with Haruka Nanami. During *All Star*, he permits Haruka to choose a surname, resulting in "Cryszard" (blending "Crystal" and "Blizzard") with the middle initial "R" symbolizing eternity or "Rondo".

Within QUARTET NIGHT, Camus navigates complex relationships. He distrusts Ren Jinguji, suspecting designs on the Silk Queen, and disapproves of Ai Mikaze’s association with Ranmaru, deeming Ranmaru a "bad influence." Despite friction, he supports colleagues covertly; for instance, he provides Haruka with Ranmaru’s background to aid their partnership and later assists in resolving Ranmaru’s conflicts with loan sharks.
