TV-Series
Description
Tiese Shtolienen, eldest daughter of a sixth-class Norlangarth North Empire noble family, trained at North Centoria's Sword Mastery Academy. Ranking among her year's top twelve students secured her the position of valet to Eugeo, a result of her Sacred Arts proficiency showcased in the entrance exam rather than exceptional swordsmanship. Driven by aspirations to elevate her family's status and developing deep admiration for Eugeo, she asked him to marry her should he achieve nobility through the Four Empires Unity Tournament.

Tiese and her close friend Ronye Arabel faced peril when nobles Raios Antinous and Humbert Zizek exploited rule loopholes to detain and attempt to assault them as punishment for perceived disrespect. Eugeo and Kirito intervened by violating the Taboo Index, saving them but becoming criminals. Tiese carried lasting guilt, believing their actions caused Eugeo and Kirito's plight.

Volunteering for the Human Guardian Army's supply unit during the Dark Territory invasion, Tiese later learned from Alice Synthesis Thirty of Eugeo's death and Kirito's catatonic state, collapsing in shock. Touching Eugeo's broken Blue Rose Sword, she heard his consoling voice through memories embedded within the weapon. She subsequently guarded Kirito's wheelchair alongside Ronye during the conflict.

After the war, Tiese and Ronye became Integrity Knight apprentices. Tiese inherited knight number 32, previously held by Eugeo under Administrator's control, and received the Blue Rose Sword from Kirito as a memento. Renly Synthesis Twenty-Seven proposed to her; she initially hesitated due to lingering feelings for Eugeo. They eventually married, had a child, and Tiese employed a spell to freeze her age in her mid-twenties to remain with the unaging Renly. Approximately 50 years later, she entered suspended animation for 200 years within the Central Cathedral alongside Ronye and Selka Zuberg.

Centuries later, Tiese awakened during the Unital Ring incident, encountering her descendant Stica Schtrinen, who bore a resemblance to Eugeo. In earlier Moon Cradle events, she participated in suppressing a rebellion led by the Four Empires' nobility, confronting the Emperor of Norlangarth alongside Ronye.

In non-canonical game timelines like *Alicization Lycoris*, Tiese joined monster-hunting teams to fulfill noble duties. Alternate scenarios explored in *Alicization Rising Steel* and other media omitted the assault incident, enabling Eugeo and Kirito to compete in the tournament and become Integrity Knights as planned. These adaptations expanded on her sword skills and interactions, though her core narrative remained tied to Eugeo's legacy and her growth beyond tragedy.
