Shizuku Osaka is a first-year Nijigasaki High School student who transferred from Seiran High School. She commutes a significant distance daily from her family home in Kamakura, where she lives as an only child with her parents and her female golden retriever, Ophelia.
She possesses long dark brown hair, usually styled in a half ponytail secured with a red ribbon, and light blue eyes. Standing 157 cm (5'1") tall with a slim build, her blood type is A and her image color is light blue (#01b7ed).
Polite, level-headed, and mature, Shizuku is often seen as a traditional Japanese beauty ("yamato nadeshiko"). Though naturally timid and shy, she is genuinely cheerful, selfless, and generous. She readily offers help, hosting group trips at her home or tutoring peers like the academically struggling Kasumi Nakasu. Her responsible nature leads her to shoulder excessive burdens while internalizing worries, yet she demonstrates resilience by standing up for herself or others when teasing becomes excessive, particularly involving Kasumi.
Her primary passion is acting, inspired since childhood by a play. She actively participates in Nijigasaki’s theater club, dedicating up to four hours daily to voice training and devising scripts based on classical works like Aesop’s Fables or *The Tale of Princess Kaguya*. She enjoys sewing costumes and admires historical plays for their elegant gestures. However, her love for older films, novels, and classical theater (e.g., Shakespeare, Chekhov, Greek tragedies) once caused anxiety about being perceived as odd by peers.
Academically, she excels as an honor student while balancing theater club and school idol commitments. She joined the Nijigasaki High School Idol Club to enhance her acting skills, encouraged by a senior she admired. Initially relying on mimicking observed behaviors for acting, feedback during a joint drama festival revealed limitations in emotional authenticity. This critique motivated her to integrate school idol activities as a means to connect more deeply with audiences and express genuine emotion. Her idol performances subsequently improved her theatrical expressiveness, allowing her to reclaim a leading role she had lost.
As part of the subunit A・ZU・NA with Ayumu Uehara and Setsuna Yuki, Shizuku values the collaborative aspect of idol work. She recognizes parallels between theater and school idol activities, noting both aim to move audiences and elicit smiles. Her idol experiences bolstered her confidence, enabling her to form meaningful connections and overcome self-doubt, citing meeting supporters and fellow idols as a key benefit.
Athletically inclined yet poor at ball sports, she often fails to catch or receive balls, sometimes resulting in comical mishaps like being hit in the face. Her hobbies include collecting Japanese-style accessories, sewing, and walking her dog. A long-term aspiration involves becoming a mother who performs in plays for her child.
