Ash commands an all-female extraterrestrial task force deployed by the Interplanetary Mutual Observation Agency during the original series' events. Her team intervenes directly to counter the invasion orchestrated by the Hybrid, son of Kayo and the Vanguard, following the failure of prior operatives. Ash falls in battle against the Hybrid.

She is resurrected in the sequel OVA "Demon Beast Resurrection" through a process utilizing the sukeban Miki as a vessel. Miki deliberately relinquishes her body to facilitate Ash's return. This resurrection forms the core of Ash's storyline in the sequel's "Purgatory" episodes, restoring her to combat the recurring threat.

Following her revival, Ash resumes leadership within the Interplanetary Mutual Observation Agency. She coordinates efforts against the Demon Beasts and their human allies, including factions like Miyuki's cult seeking to resurrect the Hybrid. Lieutenants Dee and BB serve under Ash's command during these missions.
