Ken Matsumura manages The Gundam Base, conducting lectures on Gunpla building techniques. A dedicated fan of Henken Bekkener from *Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam*, he models his GBN avatar after this character and sports a similar mustache as tribute. His long-standing friendship with Hiroto Kuga dates back to Hiroto's childhood. Later, when Hinata applies for a position at The Gundam Base, Ken meets her and provides guidance and support as she adapts to her new role.
