TV-Series
Description
Chocola is the daughter of Count Dracula and werewolf Carmilla, making her a hybrid of vampire and werewolf. She resides in Dracula's relocated Tokyo castle alongside her father and servant Igor. Sunlight exposure disintegrates her, requiring night classes at Matsutachi Junior High School. Though unharmed by water, she shares Dracula's crucifix vulnerability and blood dependency while tolerating human food.

Physically resembling a human teenager, she displays vampiric traits like pointed ears and visible fangs, with blue hair in anime adaptations. Her cheerful, sociable personality contrasts Dracula's aristocratic demeanor. She actively engages in school life through the science fiction club, motivated partly by her crush on classmate Nobuhiko Ōbayashi. Despite blood-drinking urges, she avoids biting peers while forming human friendships.

Her abilities include animal transformation into bats or wolves from her werewolf heritage. Sunlight disintegration can be reversed via a blood-and-ashes resurrection spell mirroring Dracula's. She frequently aids her father against adversaries like Professor Van Helsing or Blonda, displaying resourcefulness.

Divorced parents created conflicting upbringings: Carmilla trained her as a killer while Dracula rejected murder, leading Chocola to live primarily with her father. She retains traits from both lineages. Her affectionate bond with Dracula includes mutual protection, while Carmilla appears only briefly in the manga without sustained involvement.

Beyond *Don Dracula*, Chocola appears in Osamu Tezuka's *Black Jack* chapter "Just Like B.J." under the alias Chiyoko, maintaining established vampiric vulnerabilities.
