Description
Meracuera, alternately known as Melakuera or Melaquera, began as a minor fire spirit kindled from a campfire’s spark beside a human household. Witnessing the family’s bonds, it awakened sentience following the patriarch’s demise, claiming the name Melakuera from his gravesite as a memorial. This genesis forged his resolve to preserve equilibrium through ruthless judgment, enforcing ancient codes without compromise.

Among the Four Great Spirits embodying fire, he bore the mantle of "Arbitrator," preemptively annihilating threats to cosmic order. Obsessed with preventing another catastrophe akin to the Witch of Envy’s rampage, he fixated on silver-haired half-elves, hunting Emilia as a latent peril.

His powers spanned flame dominion, fracturing into seven autonomous incarnations each rivaling Puck’s might, and contractual possession. To breach Elior Forest’s wards, he inhabited a bandit, Chap, and unleashed the Black Serpent’s venom, engineering trials to validate Emilia’s execution.

A historic feud with Puck surfaced during their clash, recalling their prior cataclysmic duel with a beast-spirit—later dubbed the "Beast of the End"—which razed a city. Despite his might, Meracuera constrained himself, honoring sacred pacts like Emilia and Puck’s bond even when it hindered his aims.

His final confrontation with Puck ignited the Day of Red Earth and Sky, reducing Elior Forest to ashes. Vanquished, he left no corpse, yet Emilia mirrored his past gesture, raising a grave for him. This closed the circle between his inception and demise.

Meracuera operated with dispassionate precision, deeming sacrifice a moral imperative. His dread of silver-haired figures and unyielding adherence to sacrificial justice propelled his crusade against Emilia, framing him as an ideologue ensnared by duty’s cold logic.
