Description
Chap, a disavowed member of the Mining City of Ganacks' underworld, possessed an unshaven face and a hoarse voice. His first encounter with Emilia and Puck inflicted severe wounds to his right side, necessitating bandages and costing him his right ear.
Seven years prior to the main events, Chap covertly entered Elior Forest to transport jars of an unidentified green liquid, only to be intercepted by Emilia. Fueled by resentment over this thwarted mission, he later attempted to capture her by seizing villagers and deploying an Orthrus witchbeast. The confrontation spilled into a Snow Blight witchbeast's territory, further injuring Chap and his men. After this failure, his organization abandoned him following Puck's negotiation with his superior.
Consumed by vengeance, Chap forged a contract with the Great Fire Spirit Melakuera, becoming its anchor. This pact granted him formidable power but led to his physical and spiritual consumption. As Melakuera's vessel, he confronted Emilia again in the forest, wielding the spirit's abilities to obliterate her contracted lesser spirits and assault her directly. Puck overwhelmed and destroyed Chap during this clash, citing the irreversible toll of the contract and Chap's role as a mere anchor. Chap perished, fully consumed by Melakuera's power in his pursuit of revenge.
