Description
Kyohei Kadota, nicknamed "Dotachin" against his preference, is a central figure in the Dollars and former member of the Blue Squares. He leads a close-knit group with Walker Yumasaki, Erika Karisawa, and Saburo Togusa, often seen together in Ikebukuro. Kadota has a tall stature, slicked-back black hair when not wearing his signature black beanie, and typically sports a teal collared jacket, jeans, and sneakers.

His personality blends calmness with sharp perceptiveness, enabling him to easily discern others' intentions. He approaches situations seriously but shares lighthearted moments with friends. A strong sense of justice drives his actions, like rescuing Saki Mikajima from the Blue Squares despite risks and investigating Yagiri Pharmaceuticals over disappearances. His charisma mobilizes large groups of Dollars members for causes he believes in.

Kadota attended Raijin Academy alongside Izaya Orihara, Shizuo Heiwajima, and Shinra Kishitani, inexplicably wearing a junior high uniform in high school. During this time, he encountered Kazane Kinomiya asking about Shinra and later fought Saburo Togusa before saving him from Purple Gamble attackers, cementing their friendship and leading them, with Erika and Walker, to join the Blue Squares. Kadota ultimately betrayed the Blue Squares during their conflict with the Yellow Scarves, opposing their methods and facilitating Saki's rescue.

Following the Blue Squares' dissolution, Kadota and his group joined the Dollars, seeing initial benefit. He suspected Izaya Orihara as the Dollars' founder, though unconfirmed. His activities included locating the missing Mika Harima for Celty, patrolling for Saika-possessed slashers, and advising Masaomi Kida during the Yellow Scarves resurgence. He organized Dollars interventions to protect Anri Sonohara and confront Yellow Scarves extremists.

In the Hollywood arc, Kadota protected Mairu and Kururi Orihara from Toramaru members, later evacuating Mikado Ryuugamine, Anri Sonohara, and Aoba Kuronuma during a chase involving Celty. Conflict arose with Toramaru's Chikage Rokujou over misunderstandings about Dollars attacking Toramaru affiliates. After a brutal fight at Raira Academy, Kadota persuaded Chikage to withdraw Toramaru from Ikebukuro in exchange for identifying the rogue Dollars responsible. When rogue Dollars threatened Chikage's girlfriend and allies, Kadota and his group intervened, resulting in a brawl halted by Shizuo Heiwajima.

Kadota enjoys reading, ink and wash painting, watching baseball, and visiting hot springs. He favors sushi, tempura soba, and green tea, but dislikes utensils like forks and knives. His favorite saying uses baseball as a life metaphor. He operates under the Dollars handle "MONTA," derived from the kanji in his surname.

He consistently prioritizes helping others, whether friends, strangers, or adversaries, reflecting a deeply ingrained moral compass. This manifests from high school rescues to mediating gang conflicts, establishing him as a stabilizing influence in Ikebukuro.
