Description
Chobi, younger brother of Remi, is a central figure in a trio displaced into prehistoric eras by an alien intelligence. His impulsive nature sparks critical events, such as injuring a Tyrannosaurus rex’s eye with a sharpened stick—an act that triggers the predator’s vengeful pursuit across time. This aggression binds the group to a cycle of conflict, cementing the Tyrannosaurus as a recurring antagonist.

Chobi’s dynamic shifts when he forms an inseparable bond with Zhu, a Triceratops hatchling orphaned by the same Tyrannosaurus. Assuming guardianship, he nurtures the dinosaur, who imprints on him as kin. Their bond underscores his transition from recklessness to accountability, emphasizing loyalty and care. Zhu’s later sacrifice to shield the group from the Tyrannosaurus fractures Chobi’s resilience, imprinting lasting grief on his journey.

During the Ice Age, Chobi reignites tensions by sabotaging a Neanderthal ritual meant to placate the Tyrannosaurus. His defiance provokes the predator’s climactic clash with humans, indirectly causing its demise as the last of its species. These choices spotlight his penchant for dismantling authority and disrupting order, often steering events toward chaos or resolution.

Balancing impulsiveness with fierce protectiveness, Chobi’s actions consistently propel pivotal story turns. His relationship with Zhu anchors themes of unintended consequences and kinship, while his clashes with the Tyrannosaurus reflect humanity’s disruptive role in primal cycles. Though his long-term evolution remains unstated, his choices remain instrumental in weaving the narrative’s stakes and emotional core.
