Han 'Chavam appears exclusively in the animated short "The Duel" within the Halo Legends anthology. She is the wife of Arbiter Fal 'Chavamee, a Sangheili military leader who rejects Covenant religious doctrine. Han demonstrates unwavering loyalty to her husband despite the risks of his heresy against the Covenant.

When Fal expresses concern for her safety due to his stance, Han refuses to leave his side, asserting her place as his wife and the general's spouse. This leads to her capture after betrayal by one of Fal's closest friends, who reveals her location to Covenant forces led by Harka. Han is brutally beaten by her captors. She is then killed by Roh, acting under Harka's orders; her death serves as a deliberate provocation against Fal, with her body and Roh's corpse left as a challenge.

Fal later avenges Han's death but sustains mortal wounds. A vision of Han represents his final sight before dying.

Han is the only physically depicted female Sangheili within the Halo universe at the time of her portrayal. Her design incorporates a deliberately humanoid appearance, described as a stylistic choice to evoke sympathy, while retaining typical Sangheili physiological traits like the species' distinctive mandible-based mouth structure.
