TV-Series
Description
Suzuki, a baby demon awakened from slumber by Oriko Seki's voice at the Hananoyu Inn, initially reacted with annoyance. Attempting to drive Oriko away, Suzuki attracted troublesome guests to cause her difficulties, though these efforts failed. Physically, Suzuki has blond hair, darker skin, and two small horns, wearing a yellow baby dress with a red ribbon alongside white diaper pants.
Upon discovery, Suzuki faced potential sealing or burial beneath a church by Airyuu. Preferring the lively inn over confinement or a cursed existence, Suzuki negotiated to stay by agreeing to follow Oriko's rules and assist with inn operations alongside resident ghosts, despite initial surprise at the work requirement.
Suzuki exhibits mischievous yet non-malicious behavior, including a habit of secretly taking food like eggs, fries, and soup. A specific weakness exists: a bell rung by Oriko causes visible distress and prompts panicked running. Over time, Suzuki integrated into daily inn life, helping with chores and developing a fondness for the environment, contrasting it favorably with gloomier places.
Suzuki observed that as Oriko grows happier and less burdened by grief, her ability to perceive ghosts and supernatural beings diminishes. This change coincides with key moments in Oriko's healing, including her confrontation with the family responsible for her parents' fatal accident. Suzuki's presence and interactions reflect the inn's philosophy of welcoming all individuals and supernatural entities without rejection.
