Description
Suzuki, a classmate and central school antagonist, emerges as a bully fixated on tormenting Aoyama and Uchida. His hostility originates in envy toward Aoyama’s closeness to Hamamoto, a girl Suzuki secretly admires, driving him to sabotage Aoyama through theft and intimidation. He spearheads a clique dismissing the existence of enigmatic penguins, directly countering Aoyama’s supernatural inquiries.

While probing the anomalies, Suzuki locates the hidden “sea” sphere in the forest and alerts researchers, unintentionally intensifying the crisis. This betrayal provokes a clash with Hamamoto, who strikes him in fury. Yet, during the final confrontation, Suzuki reveals fleeting redemption by helping Aoyama escape pursuing authorities, allowing him to confront the Lady and contain the anomaly.

His relationship with Hamamoto lingers in tension, her affection for Aoyama unchanged. Suzuki’s actions oscillate between calculated malice and glimpses of fragility, particularly when Hamamoto rebuffs his overtures. The narrative confines his presence to school life, framing him as both an instigator of conflict and an uneasy participant in the mystery’s resolution.
