Description
Wolf is a highly skilled mecha pilot in the International Military Organization (I.M.O.), renowned for his prodigious talent and serving as a benchmark for recruits like protagonist Yu Kananase. His real name is Eric Mayger. He is the son of scientist Ricardo Duelmeyer, who collaborated with Masaki Kananase (Yu and Kaori's father) on the "Remake" consciousness transfer technology.
Wolf's past holds trauma; his mother died during early Remake experiments, an event Ricardo blamed on Masaki Kananase, fueling Ricardo's desire for vengeance against the Kananase family. In the series' second half, Ricardo brainwashes and "remakes" Wolf into a new identity named "Eric," suppressing his original personality and memories to weaponize him against Yu and Kaori.
As Eric, he becomes a primary antagonist, piloting the powerful rival mecha "Loki" to enact his father's vendetta. This transformation twists Wolf from a respected comrade into a conflicted adversary, embodying themes of manipulation and lost autonomy. The brainwashing and his subsequent actions as Eric define his character arc throughout the narrative's latter stages.
