Nuts, also known as Natts, is a brown squirrel-like mascot character originating from the Palmier Kingdom, the same realm as Coco. He is later revealed to be a prince from a separate region of that kingdom. Initially sealed within the Dream Collet, he is freed once the five Cures obtain their powers. After his release, Nuts assumes a human form and serves as the clerk of a jewelry shop called Natts House. His human appearance is notably striking, often causing the Pretty Cure girls and others to blush upon seeing him.

Nuts carries an aloof and somewhat cold demeanor, shaped by past events that fostered a deep distrust of others—a skepticism that once extended even to his old friend Coco. Though his stoic and reserved nature makes his emotions difficult to discern, he forms a special connection with Komachi Akimoto, Cure Mint, which develops romantic undertones. This relationship marks a key element of his growth as he gradually learns to trust and open up.

In the movie *Kagami no Kuni no Miracle Daibōken!*, Nuts and Coco are abducted into the Mirror Kingdom by Shadow's henchmen, Hidarin and Migirin, who pose as evil copies of the mascots. Their capture initiates the central plot, compelling the Pretty Cure team to rescue them. During the climax, Nuts and Coco observe Shadow's attempt to use the Dream Collet, informing him that its power remains unusable without all the Pinkies—though Shadow had already gathered most of them using the mirrors.
