Movie
Description
Nuts, formally known as Natts, originates as a squirrel-like fairy prince from the Palmier Kingdom, possessing the ability to shift into human form. In the human world, he serves as clerk of the Natts House jewelry shop, adopting the alias "Mr. Natsu." His fairy form features brown fur with dark orange hair tufts and beige underparts, ending sentences with "-natsu." His human guise presents with dirty blonde hair, tanned skin, and attire including russet vests and ripped jeans, evolving in adulthood to longer hair and maroon jackets.
Personality centers on seriousness, deep distrust, and blunt honesty, stemming from traumatic guilt over accidentally enabling the Nightmare organization's invasion of Palmier Kingdom by aiding a wounded creature that breached security. This incident fuels lasting reluctance to accept help, though he demonstrates underlying care when his actions hurt others. Relationships develop gradually: his strained bond with best friend Coco rebuilds through shared trials, while Cure Mint/Komachi Akimoto helps temper his blunt criticism into constructive feedback regarding her writing aspirations.
Sealed within the Dream Collet artifact to protect Palmier Kingdom's Pinkies, he is later rescued by Cure Dream, leading to the establishment of Natts House. Early financial struggles in shop management culminate in him fainting from starvation before accepting aid, symbolizing initial growth. His trajectory shows increasing loyalty as he advises the Pretty Cure team during battles and personal challenges despite a reserved exterior.
Later, Nuts and Coco jointly rule Palmier Kingdom as kings. His crown enables Milky Rose's Milky Mirror powers and combination attacks with Cure Dream. During the Kibou no Chikara timeline, he researches ominous Time Flowers, initially opposing Kurumi's transformations to protect her before acknowledging her resolve. He coordinates with Syrup on interdimensional threats and advocates for Coco's emotional honesty concerning Nozomi.
Accompanying the group to the Dessert Kingdom during the Okashi no Kuni no Happy Birthday movie events, Nuts is captured alongside Syrup and Kurumi by the manipulated Queen. Imprisoned in bubbles reverting them to fairy forms, he escapes with Syrup via Mailpo's assistance. Observing Princess Chocola's conflicted motives, he ultimately supports her redemption arc to rescue her mother.
