Namida is a tear sprite dwelling in Shizuku Forest. He operates a sports gym with an athlete, promoting physical activity and exercise. His appearance features dark blue skin, perpetually streaming tears, sparkly eyes, an open mouth usually showing three teeth, and occasional visible sparkles around him. While he cries frequently, this isn't always a sign of sadness and often accompanies intense passion.

This passion erupts in fiery outbursts where he becomes metaphorically "on fire," generating enough heat to burn or melt nearby objects. He frequently voices sentiments described as deeply felt, often centered on themes of youth. During adventures with residents like Shizuku and Uruoi, he forms connections beyond his immediate circle, including a documented friendship with a ghost named Luna; they share a desire for continued existence.

In the human-transformation spin-off *NiJiRo Fairy Shizuku-chan*, Namida retains his core traits while gaining a human form. His backstory, responsibilities, personality, familial relationships, and origins remain consistent and undisclosed across the original series, sequel seasons, and this reimagined version.
