Thunder, also known as Road Thunder or Super Thunder, is a sentient, self-aware motorcycle serving as Ryo Hibiki's exclusive combat vehicle partner. Its artificial intelligence enables autonomous operation and communication during missions. Acting as Ryo's primary transportation and tactical asset, Thunder integrates with his blue Baltector suit to enable speed-based close combat scenarios, functioning as a specialized weapon system. The motorcycle transforms into an enhanced Super Thunder configuration for heightened combat effectiveness. Thunder's operational history remains exclusively tied to Ryo's activities, with no evolution or expanded functionality documented in subsequent media beyond this established role. It does not appear in the "New Century 2058" sequel OVA, and its involvement in "Lover's Rain" maintains continuity with the original series depiction without additional development.
