His motivation for becoming a pilot is to financially support his many siblings, reflecting a strong sense of familial responsibility.

He exhibits a notably polite and diplomatic demeanor, demonstrated when he defused a confrontation by calmly cleaning a uniform stain instead of escalating tensions. Wolfgang forms a close bond with his flying partner, Marco Santos, who views him as an older brother figure; Wolfgang accepts this role. During the defense of Isla against the Sky Clan's paratrooper attack, Wolfgang participates as a gunner aboard an El Halcon fighter. Amid the retreat of surviving forces after significant losses, he and Marco deliberately intercept pursuing Silver Fox fighters to protect Kal-el Albus and Ariel Albus. This action results in their aircraft sustaining severe damage. Wolfgang sustains fatal gunshot wounds during the engagement.
